Terms of Service
By using TierOnePrep (tieroneprep.com, the "Service") you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us at hello@tieroneprep.com.
The service
TierOnePrep provides interview-preparation content: system design, cloud architecture, low-level design and coding questions with guided walkthroughs, behavioral interview guides, discussion-round questions, quizzes, study paths by topic and role, a concepts library, written guides, and free tools. A free tier includes a set of fully unlocked questions and most of the reference material; a paid Pro subscription unlocks the rest of the question bank.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for what happens under your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service (see acceptable use below).
Pro subscription & billing
- Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe in your region's currency, shown before checkout.
- Cancel anytimefrom your dashboard's billing portal — no lock-in. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then downgrades to the free tier. Your practice history is kept.
- If a renewal payment fails, Pro access pauses until payment succeeds.
- Billing problem or refund request? Email hello@tieroneprep.com — billing issues are answered first, and genuine mistakes (like a double charge) are refunded.
- Prices may change; existing subscribers are notified before any change affects them.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape, bulk-download, or republish the question bank or guides; don't probe or disrupt the Service; don't create accounts by automated means; don't use the paid content to build a competing question bank. Personal use for your own interview preparation — including sharing what you learned — is exactly what the Service is for.
Content ownership
The questions, guides, and site content are owned by TierOnePrep and protected by copyright. Content you submit (feedback, shared interview questions) stays yours; by submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and adapt it on the Service — shared questions may be published after review, never with your name or email attached.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". Our content is modeled on real interview patterns at top tech companies, but we are not affiliated with those companies and cannot guarantee interview outcomes — hiring decisions depend on far more than practice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination & changes
You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date, and continued use after a change means acceptance.
